Export your current menu if your existing system allows it, and have your prices, categories and any allergen information to hand. Pick a quiet period for the switch, such as a closed day or a slow afternoon, and keep the old system available as a fallback for the first day.
Moving your venue across
Five steps from an existing setup to a working ManageHex venue.
- Add the venue, its address and how you take payment.
- Rebuild the menu: categories first, then items with prices, modifiers and allergen notes.
- Check a sample of items against your old system, paying attention to prices and modifiers.
- Add your staff and give each person a role.
- Run a test order from menu to paid, and confirm the kitchen sees it correctly.
